Why We Built This Site
Kansas gives the public broad access to many court records through the Kansas Open Records Act, Kansas Supreme Court Rule 22, courthouse terminals, Kansas CaseSearch, and the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal. In Wilson County, the Clerk of the District Court handles District Court case files, including civil, criminal, domestic, probate, marriage license, divorce, juvenile, traffic, and small-claims matters when public access is allowed. The County Clerk is a separate county administrative office. The Sheriff handles jail and custody records at 925 Pierce St. in Fredonia. Municipal traffic and ordinance cases may route through Fredonia Municipal Court or Neodesha Municipal Court.
